racing motorcycles with fully fabricated frames
and highly modified engines. Supercharging and
nitro-methane fuel are permitted. |

Pro Stock |
|
|
Pro Stock is the highest development of
naturally aspirated, street appearing, four
seater sedans or coupes. Cars must use naturally
aspirated V8 engines fitted with carburettors
only. |

Pro Bike |

|
Pro Bike represent the highest development of
naturally aspirated, street appearing
motorcycles. |

|

Competition Eliminator |
|
|
Competition Eliminator is open to both naturally
aspirated and supercharged dragsters, altered
and sedans that compete on the Semi Professional
handicapped Australian class indexes. |

|
|
Super Stock |
|
|
Super Stock Vehicles compete on the Semi
Professional handicapped Australian class
indexes and are based on stock appearing
production cars with almost unlimited chassis
modifications including the option for engine
setback. The production body shell must be
retained but lightweight panels are permitted.
Unlimited engine modifications are permitted in
most cases, with supercharging allowed. |

Super Compact |
|
|
Super Compact is a multi-class bracket covering
up to 8 types of sedan type vehicles or factory
derivatives using 4, 6 & rotary engines with
speeds in excess of 200mph (320kph) in some
classes, that compete on the Semi Professional
handicapped Australian class indexes. |
|
|
|
|
|
Competition Bike |
|
|
Competition Bike classes accommodate purpose
built drag racing motorcycles with fully
fabricated frames and highly modified engines
that compete on the Semi Professional
handicapped Australian class indexes.
Supercharging is permitted in some classes. |

|
|
|
Supercharged Outlaws |
|
|
Supercharged Outlaws combines two classes for
dragsters/altereds/funny cars, and sedans
meeting relevant Sportsman regulations and using
V8 engines with Rootes or Screw type
Superchargers. Supercharged Outlaws will be all
run that qualify between 0 and 7.99 and is a
"dial your own" handicap system |

Modified provides a number of classes for
vehicles to compete in the Sportsman "dial your
own" handicap system Modified vehicles include
Dragsters, Altereds and Hot Rods. All run. |

Top Sportsman |

Top Sportsman caters for sedan based vehicles
with any engine combination or any type of power
adders. All Top Sportsman vehicles must run
quicker than 8.99 and is a "dial your own"
handicap system |

Super Sedan |
|
|
Super Sedan caters for a wide range of sedan
based vehicles running in Sportsman, using the
"dial your own" handicap system. |

|
|
|
|
Super Gas |
|
|
Super Gas is reserved for full-body cars using a
common fixed index. Heads up, pro starts are
used. |
|
|
|
|
|
Super Street |
|
|
Super Street is the entry level sedan category,
using the "dial your own" handicap system. This
bracket is for sedans nominating to run between
11.00 and 12.999 seconds. |
|
|
|
|
|
Modified Bike |
|
|
Modified Bike is the bracket racing or "dial
your own" handicap equivalent of Competition
Bike, covering a range of classes from
supercharged competition only bikes to street
ridden machines with little or no modifications.
It's the perfect entry level for motorcycle
competitors. |

|
|
|
Junior Dragster |
|
|
Junior Dragster is for children between the ages
of eight and sixteen inclusive, racing half
scale dragsters, replicas of the sport's fastest
cars. The dial your own handicap system is used.
Junior dragsters are limited to a minimum 1/8th
mile elapsed time of 7.90 seconds. Drivers
between the ages of 8 & 10 are limited to an
elapsed time no quicker than 11.90 seconds
(1/8th mile).
