IHRA Australia is excited about adding a new category into the Professional Class of Pro Alcohol.

The class will be known as: Pro Alcohol Injected Nitro Dragster.

The bracket designation: PA/IND (Pro Alcohol / Injected Nitro Dragster).

In working with the Pro Alcohol association it was seen by all as a positive step forward for what is already one of IHRA Australia’s most exciting classes and will no doubt create further fan interest in Pro Alcohol as well as providing an exciting new platform for racers wishing to step up to Nitro Methane.

This new category will have rules and guidelines which will fit into the current Australian Pro Alcohol Class, which will make the Pro Alcohol Class somewhat different but exciting at the same time.

Maurice Allen CEO commented that having Funny Cars Vs Dragsters Vs Altereds in the one class is already exciting, but throwing Nitro Injected Dragsters into the class just adds to the entertainment value of Pro Alcohol, we see this introduction as a further step forward in raising the International profile of this bracket, and we are excited to deliver this new class to the fans that support Australian Drag Racing.

Fans attending the 52^nd Gulf Western Oils Winternationals will be treated to a two car exhibition demonstration.
